X's own bookmarks are a place things go to be forgotten. Saving into NewTwos puts the post where you actually look, and makes it searchable alongside everything else.
Before you start
The integration turned on in Settings Advanced X (Twitter), and your X account connected so replies can be matched to you.
How it works
Reply to a post with the save phrase. The post is captured to Today or your default list.
What comes across
The post text, its author, and a link back to it.
Going further
X links can render inline. A saved post can display as an embedded post rather than a bare link. See rich players.
The share sheet is the alternative and works from the app on your phone with no setup. See the share sheet.
Tips
- Capture the text rather than relying on the link. Posts disappear and your copy does not.
- Worth pairing with auto-tagging, since saved posts pile up quickly.
