The share sheet
Anything you can share from another app can go into NewTwos.
Before you start
Nothing. It works as soon as the app is installed, though on iOS you may need to enable NewTwos in the share sheet's edit list the first time.
What you can send
Links, text selections, and photos.
A shared link arrives as a thing with a preview. See links and link previews.
Where it lands
Today, or your default list if you set one. See where new things go.
Going further
Auto-tagging marks the source. With Settings Advanced Automatically tag things from integrations on, shared things carry a tag saying where they came from, which makes a weekly clean-up much easier.
Add a word before you share. A link with three words of your own is far easier to find later than a bare URL.
Tips
- Move NewTwos to the front of your share sheet. On iOS that is a one-time edit and it saves a scroll every time.
- This is the best route for saving articles on a phone. On a laptop, use the Chrome extension. See Chrome extension.
