Kindle
Kindle clippings can be imported into NewTwos.
Before you start
Your My Clippings.txt file, which lives on the Kindle itself when connected by cable.
Connect
Import the file in Settings Advanced Kindle. Highlights are grouped by book.
What comes across
Highlight text, grouped into a list per book.
Readwise is usually better
Readwise reads highlights from Kindle apps and devices continuously, handles deduplication, and keeps syncing. If you highlight regularly, set that up instead. See Readwise.
Use the clippings file when you want a one-off import and do not want another subscription.
Tips
- Import once, then archive the books you are done with.
- Re-importing the same file creates duplicates. Delete the first import before retrying.
