The cards
Reflect, Memory of the Day, Week, Weekly Digest, upcoming reminders, on this day, chat, recent lists, to-do things, starred things, tags, recent things, mentions, the map, or any specific list you name.
Choosing well
Three or four cards. A Home with twelve is a scroll, and a dashboard that requires scrolling has stopped being a dashboard.
The useful test: would I act on this card. A card you read and do nothing about is decoration.
Going further
Any specific list can be a card, which is the most underused option. A household list or a current project on Home is often better than any of the generic cards.
Cards are live. Acting on a thing in a card acts on the real thing.
Home only earns its place if you start there. Otherwise it is a view you configured and never open. See where the app opens.

Tips
- Memory of the Day is the card people say they open the app for. Start with that one.
- Remove a card the second week if you have not tapped it. Dashboards decay by accumulation.
