When something's wrong
My things are not syncing
Two devices showing different things, in the order worth checking.
Check these, in order

Are you signed into the same account on both?
By far the most common cause. Signing in with Google on one device and email on the other creates two accounts. Check the email shown in settings on each. See sign in.

Is one device anonymous?
An account with no login never syncs. Its things live on that device only. See turn an anonymous account into a real one.

Has the stale device been online since?
Sync happens when the app is open with a connection. A device that has not been opened has nothing to catch up with. Open it and wait a moment.

Is it actually a filter?
A tag filter, a collapsed section, or archived material can make a list look different rather than be different. See something I wrote is missing.
Cause and fix
Two accounts. Sign out on the wrong one and sign in with the other method. Nothing is lost, it was never merged.
Anonymous account. Create a login on that device. Everything already written comes with it.
Not opened recently. Open the app and leave it a few seconds.
Photos still uploading. The thing syncs immediately and the image follows. A weak connection delays the image only.
What to send support
If none of the above resolves it: the account email, both platforms and app versions, one example thing and where you wrote it, and roughly when. That turns three round trips into one.
