Reminders are not notifying me
Notification problems are almost always one of three layers, and they are worth checking in order.
Check these, in order

The operating system
Notifications must be allowed for NewTwos in your device settings. No in-app setting can override a system denial, so this is always the first check. On the web, the browser must have granted permission too.

Focus modes and Do Not Disturb
A focus mode that excludes NewTwos will suppress everything silently. This is the second most common cause and the least obvious.

The app's notification settings
Reminder notifications are separate from social and digest ones. See notifications.

The reminder itself
Check its time and lead time with ⌘⇧I. An all-day reminder notifies in the morning, not at a moment, and can be turned off entirely by Settings Calendar & Reminders All-day notifications.
Cause and fix
Permission denied. Grant it in system settings. Nothing in NewTwos can work around it.
A focus mode is active. Allow NewTwos in that mode, or accept it.
It fired earlier than expected. A default lead time moves the alert before the event. See Settings Calendar & Reminders Default alert.
Very many future reminders. iOS limits how many pending notifications an app may schedule at once, so the furthest-out ones are scheduled as nearer ones fire. Reducing the number of scheduled reminders resolves it.
The device has not opened NewTwos in a long time. Reminders are scheduled on the device. Open the app so newly created ones get registered.
What to send support
Platform and version, whether system permission is granted, one example reminder and its exact time, and whether any focus mode was active.
