On a big screen
On a wide screen NewTwos spreads out, rather than showing the phone layout larger.
What appears
A persistent sidebar with your lists and navigation, instead of a menu you open. Toggle it with ⌘\.
List tabs, so several lists can be open at once and switched between without navigating.
A right-hand panel that can hold chat, a list, or a timeline, so you can work against two things at once.

Pressing the chord for the mode that is already open closes the panel, so each one is a toggle rather than a one-way door.

Going further
Opening a list in the panel keeps your place. ⇧ + click puts a linked list beside the current one rather than navigating away, which is what makes following a mention non-destructive.
Panels are resizable, and the width is remembered.
Full width is a setting. Settings Appearance & Accessibility Full width decides whether content stretches across a very wide window or stays in a readable column. On a large monitor the column is usually better.

Tips
- Two panels is the useful maximum. Three columns of your own writing is harder to read, not easier.
- On an iPad with a keyboard, every desktop shortcut works. It is the desktop layout, not the phone one.
