NewTwos World
Your profile
Your profile is the public page at your username.
What is on it
A username, a bio, a profile photo, a cover photo, and any lists you chose to show.
You can also set your own colours, so a profile looks like yours rather than a template.
What appears
Only lists you explicitly show. Publishing a list and showing it on your profile are two separate switches, so a list can be shareable by link without being browsable.
Going further
Your username is your URL. It is how people find and mention you, so it is worth picking one you will keep.
A profile is not required. With the public side turned off you have no meaningful profile, and nothing about the rest of NewTwos changes. See Settings Advanced Feed.
Anonymous accounts have no profile until you create a login. See turn an anonymous account into a real one.
Settings that change this
- Settings Account Edit profile edits your username, bio and photos.
- Settings Advanced Feed turns the public side off.
Tips
- Write a one-line bio. Nobody reads a paragraph, and an empty bio reads as abandoned.
- Show two or three good lists rather than everything you have ever published.
