Days view
Days view is the scrollable history of every day you have written on.
Why you'd care
If you use NewTwos as a journal, this is the journal. Every day you wrote anything is here, newest first, and scrolling back through it is often a better way to find something than searching, because you recognise a day by its shape.
The 60-second version
Open Days from the nav bar or side menu and scroll.
Going further
Recognition beats recall. Searching requires remembering a word you used. Scrolling requires remembering roughly when. For anything in the last couple of weeks, scrolling usually wins.
Blank days are not shown. Days you never wrote on do not clutter the list, and days that ended up empty can be cleaned up. See day housekeeping.
It pairs with search rather than replacing it. Once you are past a few months, search by date is faster. See search.
Tips
- Scroll back a month occasionally. It is the fastest way to notice a habit you have dropped.
- Days with photos are the easiest to recognise while scrolling, which is a decent reason to take more of them.
