Location reminders
A reminder can fire when you arrive somewhere or when you leave, rather than at a time.
Location reminders are free.
Why you'd care
"Buy milk" at 6pm is a guess. "Buy milk when I get to the shop" is correct. Anything tied to a place is better tied to the place.
The 60-second version
Set a reminder, choose location instead of time, pick a place, and choose arriving or leaving.
Going further
Leaving is underrated. "Take the laundry" when you leave the house is more reliable than any morning alarm, because it fires at the moment the action is possible.
It needs background location permission. The operating system must be allowed to wake NewTwos when you cross the boundary. Without that permission there is nothing the app can do.
Distance units follow your settings. Metric or imperial, set in Settings Appearance & Accessibility Distance units.
Precise location is separate. Whether NewTwos gets exact or approximate coordinates is a system-level choice, and approximate is often too coarse for a geofence. See Settings Advanced Precise location.

- Settings Advanced Precise location controls location accuracy.
Tips
- Use arrival for shops and errands, and departure for anything you must take with you.
- Pick a slightly generous radius. Too tight and it fires as you are leaving the car park.
If it's not working
It never fires. Almost always background location permission. Check it in system settings rather than in NewTwos.
It fires late. Geofences are checked by the operating system on its own schedule to save battery, so a small delay is normal and not adjustable.
