NewTwos can sync two ways with the Apple Reminders app on iOS.

Why you'd care

Apple Reminders is where Siri puts things, where HomePod requests land, and where other people's shared grocery lists live. Sync means you do not have to abandon that to use NewTwos.

Before you start

  • iOS or iPadOS. This is an Apple-only integration.
  • Reminders permission at the system level.
  • A decision about which Reminders list to use as the default.

Connect

Grant permission, pick a default list, and sync. Existing reminders come across, and new ones flow both ways from then on.

There is a manual sync if you want to force a pass rather than wait.

What comes across

Titles, due dates and times, completion state, and the list they belong to.

Removing it

Disconnecting offers to clear the reminders NewTwos created, leaving your own untouched.

Tips

  • Use one dedicated Apple Reminders list as the bridge rather than syncing everything. Siri captures land there and cross into NewTwos cleanly.
  • If you mostly want Siri capture, a Shortcut writing straight into NewTwos is simpler than full sync. See Siri and Shortcuts.

If it's not working

Nothing syncs. Reminders permission is denied at the system level.

Subtasks are missing. They cannot be read by any third-party app. Flatten them in Apple Reminders if you need them.

Duplicates appeared. Both apps created the same item independently before the first sync. Delete one side and let it settle.
