The Twostorial is a tutorial that lives in your account as an ordinary list, so you learn by doing rather than reading.

Why you'd care

Reading about a gesture does not teach it. The Twostorial puts each lesson next to a real thing you can act on, so learning to indent means actually indenting something, in your own account, with your own data.

It is also the fastest tour of the features people otherwise never find.

Where it is

It is seeded into your account when you sign up, and it is a normal list called Twostorial. You can find it in your lists, or search for it.

If you dismissed the invite, nothing is lost. The list is still there.

What it teaches

Roughly fifteen steps, each a thing you interact with: completing a to-do, moving something to tomorrow, indenting, searching, setting a reminder, and the fact that your days come back to you a year later.

Going further

It is yours to wreck. Because it is a real list, you can edit it, reorder it, delete steps, or delete the whole thing. Nothing depends on it staying intact.

Delete it when you are done. Most people do, and that is the intended ending. It is not a system page and it will not be missed.

It only covers the basics. These docs are the deep version. When a Twostorial step makes you curious, the matching chapter here goes much further.

Tips

  • Do it on the device you actually use most. The gestures differ between touch and keyboard, and the steps adapt.
  • If you are returning after a long break, running through it again is a quicker refresher than reading.

If it's not working

I cannot find the Twostorial. Search for "Twostorial". If it genuinely is not there, it was deleted at some point, which is normal and harmless. These docs cover the same ground.

A step does not do what it says. The steps assume default settings. If you have changed swipe actions or keyboard shortcuts, the described gesture may be bound to something else now.
